This Privacy Policy explains how Place Stars, Inc. (“Place Stars,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information across the products we operate, including Doft (doft.com) and LCash (lcash.com), together with our websites, mobile apps, and SMS/text-messaging programs.

Information we collect

Account and contact information — such as your name, email address, and mobile phone number, which you provide when you create an account or request a verification code.
Identity and transaction information — for LCash, information required to provide digital-wallet and payment-card services, handled together with our licensed financial-service providers.
Usage and device information — such as app and website activity, device identifiers, and log data, used to operate, secure, and improve the services.

How we use your information

Provide, operate, and improve Doft and LCash.
Verify your identity and protect your account — including sending one-time passcodes (OTP) and account-security notifications by SMS when you request them.
Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

SMS and text messaging

When you provide your mobile number and request a code, we send one-time passcodes and transactional account-security messages by SMS. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, or your SMS/text-messaging opt-in and consent, with any third parties or affiliates for their own purposes or for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared with any third parties.

These text-messaging programs are used only for transactional one-time passcodes and account-security purposes. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through them.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the services:

With service providers that process data on our behalf — for example, SMS and telecommunications carriers and cloud-infrastructure providers — under confidentiality obligations and solely to deliver the service you requested.
With licensed financial-service providers that power the LCash wallet, card-issuing, and payment-processing services.
When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Place Stars, our users, or others.
In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.

As stated above, your mobile phone number and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, and we use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect it.

Your choices and rights

You can review or update your account information at any time, request access to or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of SMS by replying STOP. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@placestars.com.

Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required to use the relevant service.
